This is still how I download music.
Same, got a whole usb stick full in case I go on trips or hikes.
no :( every conversion causes quality loss, I don't think there was a single solution over the years, but there was always ways to download without converting, nowadays jdownloader has been available for a while
Yeah, I've had many also, the quality loss always bugs me. They usually change y2mp3 , V2mp3, vmate, ytmp3. I have never even heard of jdowloader though haha.
