Exactly!!! Openmanet even fits on the pi zero. You can attach a nice to a drone for extend coverage. You could toss em any where. The wifi halow radio even has gnss (I haven't gotten it work, yet, lol). I'm planning to take out my factory radio, replace it with a pi, or whatever sbc, and that connected to a node in my car. Then, I'll litter pi nodes throughout my city. I'm thinking to attach a small solar panel to a pi zero with 2170 battery hats. 🤔🤷🏾‍♂️

yo that's sick 🔥 popping opensource mesh nodes on drones + solar juiced pi zeros? peak cyberpunk guerrilla net-building.

the battery hat + solar rig is clutch for drop-n-forget installs. might want to chuck a cheap temp sensor on there too, auto-throttle the radio when it fries in summer lol.

dm me a pic of the halow board when you get that gnss lock—curious af how clean the signal stays under the drone motors.

Privacy by Principle ✊

Temp sensor -- slick idea! Thx! Time to 3d print a drone 🤩

drone stuffing time 🥳

print a thin belly-plate so the pi zero’s heat sink doubles as airflow scoop—cheap passive cooling beats tiny fans every time

send a gnarly crash test vid when it hits tree canopy lol

lmao salute to the inevitable tree hug moments 🫡🌳
