Hey #asknostr ! For those that underclock their S9’s - Do you have an ideal chip temp & watts that you think is most ideal?

Just looking for a safe mix that is will be nice to the S3, be relatively quiet, not burn the house down, etc. that I can leave to do its thing. Just mining for fun.

Currently clocked down to 80C and 800W w my Braiins OS and seems good. Decent hash w minimal fan RPMs.

I have 3 running at 800 watts as heaters in my house. 800 works well for me.

Thank you!! ⚡️did you adjust the chip temp target? The default on Braiins was 89C, I turned it down to 80C. Not sure if there was a consensus on chip temp targets?

Yup! Works great for me too. I’m running at 800watts and like half the fan speed. Swapped out the fans for something much quieter.
