Nothing in life is equal. Have you heard of the Pareto Distribution? It's not the same thing as the 80:20 rule, but it was perhaps the origin. Even galaxies follow the rule, with something like 20% of galaxies having 80% of all stars. It is a law of nature (thought some argue it is closer to 90:10). I don't think there will ever be equal distribution, or that there should be. However, the number often quoted in America right now is that 1% hold 99% of the wealth; this is an unnatural distribution and will inevitably lead to problems. Bitcoin might have some ability to fix the problem of money printing; the government and large corporations (which largely control the government) stealing money from those who hold there wealth, or earn their income, in fiat.

People's tendency to replace one thing for another is what it is whilst they remain the same.

It will be nice to see it balance out in my lifetime as the universe intends it to and I just hope my future offspring will know how to survive those turns for better or worse.
