Very unlikely that the feds would go through the difficulty of reverse engineering Monero payments when they can just track all the leaked cookies (per Nords recent omission 5/27/25 that >94b stolen browser cookies were leaked) to find the “bad guys”

Right out of the playbook 🤷🏼‍♀️ I didn’t write the rules, I just call it like I see it

This is simple doublespeak they'll use their authoritarian control to enhance

Glowies like Super Testnet use lightning because it's more traceable than Monero, thus making parallel construction easier for them. Calling XMR "traceable" is just the usual glowie doublespeak thing

But they will enhance the effect of this using these factors:

* Real privacy advocates will use Monero and probably not use Lightning for serious shit

* The deep state will target Monero users, especially those doing serious resistance work, more heavily than Lightning users, none of who do anything serious

* Normies can't tell the difference between serious resistance work and a honeypot, they'll think the guy that sells weed on nostr for Lightning proves it's safe or something

* Shills will be in force the whole time saying "oh you notice how all the serious projects that stick around use lightning and all the Monero users just get shut down by the feds?"

The best counter-strategy might be to use Monero more.
