I don’t waste time trying to orange pill friends and loved ones. I mention it and drop it. If we are discussing a subject that I think Bitcoin is perfectly positioned to help solve in the near term, I will once again mention something like “this is why I own Bitcoin” and drop it.

If someone wants to dig, they will. They never do.

But I am stacking plenty so I’ll feel free to let go of a huge chunk of my stack at a deep discount when the time comes. I want to be positioned so I can help give birth to a circular economy as quickly as possible in my sphere of influence and I’ll start with the people I’m closest to first and I’ll encourage them to pay it forward too.

Bitcoin Beach is a good example of how quickly a few generous people can spread the love and how big an impact that can have when the time is right.

Agreed. I've been into BTC since 2013 and talked about it a lot. My dad listened but no one else did. For the rest, I'll mention it on occasion like recently when it hit 30k, but otherwise I just leave it.

When we have a growing Bitcoin economy I'll happily zap em sats and help them get setup non-custodially tho.

You're 100% right.

Yesterday I tried Orange pilling my brother for the last time. He is the only person in my family who has spare money by the end of the month to invest, but only invests in brazil's treasuries🤮, usd, euro and real estate.

I said I tried for the last time because he completely ignored me.

One day my zap sats from nostr will be worth more than all his fiat investments and he will finally accept something his failure of a brother said.

This is such a good approach! It never helps trying to prove something to the loved ones. No argument helps and nothing is achieved in the end. I also stopped trying to convince family, just only mentioning relevant information when it is needed! Respect! 🐶🐾🫡

That's totally true!
