When I was a kid I begged my mom for a pair of Reebok Pumps for school but got a pair of L.A. Gear Regulators instead.
You can imagine the disappointment that brings to an elementary school kid growing up in the 90s.
In hindsight though, mom tried, they were still shoes that pumped, and at least I wasn’t David Bailey.
Haha. I'd have died. Those actually look cool, but I could never have worn LA Queer at my school.
