Those are some mean words. But we partly agree with you in a message you attempted to convey: sovereignty is important. That is exactly why we build the Self-custodial wallet Alby Hub, it's been launched recently, and as all new products, we expected an increase in support requests. I have not received Peter's case yet to our support@getalby.com email (for privacy we prefer to resolve the cases privately).

Our new self-custodial wallet can be mounted in our Alby Cloud and get a subscription from us. Or you can mount it by yourself in various devices since it is all open source. We even build the guides for you to setup and self-host your Alby Hub self-custodial wallet.

Where does the nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm software run from? A centralized server

Also, how is nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm existing, more important than educating people to stay away from centralized data honey pots like nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm ?

Anything centralized and having controlled access (invite links, email capture etc) is against the principle of #bitcoin being open to anyone, anywhere, anytime, with no questions asked

We build on open protocols. You could always use Alby Extension without Alby Account (so email, etc) and with us not knowing anything about you. The same will be soon possible with Alby Hub.

We literally just release open source, self-custodial wallet. You can fork it today and get rid of Alby Accounts if you want, instead of complaining
