Back in the day, my ancestors used to just personally cut the tongues out of gossipers & steal their wives & children for their soldiers; now government burn down villages & that's crossing the line.
There’s a lot we can learn from our ancestors but maybe don’t go around cutting out peoples tongues! 😂

Yeah def that's illegal now... but there are those... doing far more worse.
The tongue thing was pretty universal. I wouldn’t feel extra special about that practice.
