I recommend everyone learn how Lightning channels are made to be trustless.

It requires nearly zero technical expertise but it shows how elegant and simple incentives can be.

If you want to dig deeper, you will understand why Bitcoin is enough to deliver these incentives but personal vigilance has to exist to truly use LN in a trustless manner.
