Good question! Depends on the pollution. Should be fine in most cases but if it were highly contaminated with heavy metals I would obviously want to avoid doing so. Guess I would have to test it at the end to find out.

I was going to submerge the bags in bokashi microbes out it in the river and then redunk then back in the mother culture and put them back out. I don't know how many times I will be able to do this but was thinking about putting them on the river bank with plants suitable for remediation planted into them.
