casual street fighting was a common occurrence in the recent past. I was in one at high school. I didn't know how to fight or what I was doing, but it happened. The students from my school came from middle class backgrounds. It wasn't an underclass thing.

Now we know how to actually fight and we fight much less.

The percentage of high school students who have been in a physical fight has nearly been halved from early 90s
