For some reason, traveling with so much bitcoin merch and things is making me nervous now.

I hate the “declare” and “no declare” immigration station in mexico. It is the biggest scam. The biggest headache. The biggest symptom of a broken system.

Every single person gets eyed up and down. They choose if you go to the room so they can search all your belongs as if you were a criminal.

All to search if you are bringing more than 2 of something’s.

If you have 2 laptops - pay taxes.

If you have 10 of the same tshirts - pay taxes.

Multiple of the same hats, pay taxes.

Bringing Bitcoinize machines to give to your merchants? Pay taxes.

Pray for me. I hate hate hate hate hate passing through and have them look through my stuff.

Have you tried entering Japan with a head tattoo AND 2 suitcases full of Bitcoin merch yet? Must try. 100% would recommend 👌🏼

where is the love? ;)

Safe travels!

Definitely the low point of my vacation. It was better when the red-light greenlight game existed. At least it seemed random back then.

Well, we all know all Bitcoiners are just criminals.

The state steals, I mean, taxes people for their safety and protection, nothing else.

I was pulled into a small room by 2 Mexican officers years ago. Clearly, they were after the cash I had in my hand luggage. They were really giving me a hard time. Rude. Intimidating.

And then they saw the wristbands I wear on stage with our band logo on them, and immediately they asked for a selfie. After that they were all smiles. No more questions. 😂🤷🏻‍♂️
