I don't know if its the pneumonia meds or my nostalgia for the 80s, or just missing my parents, but I just finished watching the first of the 3 Back to the Futures playing on IPTV and almost sobbed at the end lol.

Either I remind myself of Marty McFly, or my late dad reminds me of Doc, or how I never dreamed a better future would have been possible. Only thanks to Bitcoin and the fact my dad introduced me to it long before most people knew about it.

The kicker is he was an old man that couldnt use a computer or smartphone.

I never had a proper vehicle and now I have a newish Toyota pick up truck just like Marty did...WTF

My boss also reminds me of Biff....

This is all just too strange...

I remember going to see the movie back in the 80s when it came out in theatre with my dad...all 3 of them... something we used to do together regularly along with science projects, travel, and nature observing in the park.

“This is heavy.”

“If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you’re gonna see some serious sh*t.”

“Doc, you’re my only hope.”

A Drive through memory lane .

My father left too early and he had that same truck also. And now I have one. That move series is my kids favorite. We are all connected some how. Let the tears flow if they are there.

I've learned when shit hits different to just go with it and not over analyze it, sounds like your old man was a good dad

He was and is never really gone.

I think he was a time traveller too...

What an incredible coincidence! I just saw all three of them again a few days ago and it was very touching 🥹

Now I wanna see all three again, been too long. Maybe I'll try to watch with my son. We don't have much in common though, he's like my dad that passed 15 years ago.

I bet you have more common than either of you realize or talk about.

Unfortunately that was the same for us.

Only now that he's gone I realize he's here more than ever.

Yeah, know what ya sayin! I do see some of that with my Dad now that he's gone. But always thinking of him and talking about him. He was a great Dad and I try me best to be.

Same here. I've got big shoes to fill. (even though hew as only a size 10 and im a size 12 lol).

The window for having my own son is almost closed.

Destiny will decide.

Your dad’s influence, the adventures you shared, and even the lessons from “Back to the Future” shaped your journey in ways you’re just now realizing. “Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.” 🫂
