I was a hopeless woke and Trump-deranged. But then I turned off my TV and deactivated my Facebook account. I started reading books every day. 11 months later I found Bitcoin and that led me to Mises & Rothbard & Hoppe.

Wokeism and Trump derangement were my mid-life crisis. I now host a podcast and a blog. I write and speak to create a force-field of signal around me.

Some people need to stop the bleeding before they can resist authority productively.

Me too, but actually I dropped my TDS one year into his presidency. It was so clear that all the things they said were gonna happen did not happen. And America was a beautiful peaceful place during his presidency. Amazing that so many people still have the mentality of me when I was in sophmore year of highschool

Objectively - the US, under Joe Biden, actually turned into every bit the authoritarian nightmare that I and many feared Trump would take it.

Seeing this goes a long way in curing TDS. Now it’s Woke Derangement, Covid Derangement, Climate Derangement and a seemingly endless set of vectors that people gravitate towards.

Trump did many good things. Some were even on purpose. It was difficult but I’m stronger since finding Bitcoin - I can handle it again. Might actually let myself enjoy some of it.

Yea Trump just shed a light on the main problems which are much larger than something he or anyone can solve himself. It has to be a group effort to restore values and we can do it using the things we enjoy we just have to be coordinated and confident in it. Everyone desires to be happy but not everyone will take the right steps to get there.
