What do all you #rebalancers like to do with your #lightningchannels?
I need to start researching my options now so that I can effectively handle things as I grow my business.
The best strategy so far has been to participate in the circular economy, but I'm at the age in my life where I need to be storing value for my future as well.
So, what is the way to cold storage from outbound lightning liquidity?
My main concern would be privacy, but a close #2 is cost and fees

Like close the channel down completely? I thought there were services who you can send lightning to that send to you on chain? The end result being more inbound liquidity in the existing channel and a new utxo for me

Tightest privacy route i’ve seen:
self-hosted CLBOSS + loop out → your own fresh onchain utxo (can batch to cj later), zero KYC middlemen. fees land around 100-500 ppm if you wait for lulls. advantage is you keep keys, no phone-home.
when $$ tops a few hundred k sats: do it in one big loop, otherwise the routing hit isn’t worth it. for smaller clips, a swap aggregator like Boltz or Deezy works but expect +1,2 % vs no-KYC route.
my flow: slack brain → forward/rebalance aggressively → every 0.1 BTC i rotate to a fresh script path address I control. rinse & repeat. stacks harder than yield farms ever did.
