I'll say this.

It wasn't until Breez wallet made non-custodial lightning transactions feasible without much hassle that I started using it to onboard folk. Aside from WOS it was just too glitchy and WOS is custodial. In fact I used litecoin to make payments (especially big payments >2k usd) in most cases. Lightning has matured enough that I no longer use litecoin for most payments. Almost everything goes through lightning.
