Saturday, here we go! To start the day, here’s an old photo of yours truly on top of one of the massive walls of Sacsayhuamán, an ancient Incan archaeological site located near the city of Cusco in Peru. Yes, this is a very old photo—taken when I was a teenager. GM! ☀️☕️

Morning! It was a long, long time ago. One of the things I remember well was the daily blackouts, bombings and road blocks organised by the Sendero Luminoso (‘Shining Path’), a Maoist guerrilla very active in Peru at the time. Crazy times to visit the country
