If every single detail in every single Bible story isn't literally, exactingly, scientifically true, then the whole Bible is completely wrong about everything.

Books about totally benign subjects like squirrel mating habits are updated every decade or so to include new findings.

Yet somehow we're really supposed to believe that there have been no new findings in 2000 years because the bible is just too true to ever become flawed?

You're arguing my point! Squirrel mating habits aren't important and never change morally. All that crazy shit that went down the in bible is much more morally ambiguous and impossible to test.
