There's a cultural artifact that if you're buying your wife flowers, you've done something wrong. I'm not a fan of it but I've been hesitant to buy them for a long time as a result.

Buy her flowers for no reason at all. Bring her flowers with the groceries. Just because. Not all, but most women really appreciate it. She likes to make your home nice and having fresh flowers as a centerpiece on the dining room table all the time is something she'll probably love.
