If the mesh channel is receiving your nostr follows it might overload it. Maybe a setting to have select follows like Twitter SMS back in the day.

It is exactly how works. You need to fill up your contact list in a json file, that is npub and nickname of each contact you want to receive or send DMs.

Oh neat. Could more than one user post to nostr from that server? How would nsec be managed ?
