I have a layman’s perspective of bitcoin and energy use. I recently spoke to a colleague who regurgitated the ‘bitcoin bad because of energy’ and struggled to explain to them why it was more complex this it first appears.

- Bitcoin helps flatten the demand/supply of energy during the day

What other explanations could I have mentioned? What other angle should I have taken?
