Will I use an Ethereum client? No. But I welcome Ethereum devs to try to build the best decentralized NFT experience upon Nostr that they've ever seen. 🤣

Nostr Assets Protocol is an open-source protocol that introduces Taproot assets and Satoshis (units of Bitcoin) into the Nostr ecosystem.
Once the assets are introduced, users can send and receive them at the Nostr Protocol layer using Nostr’s public and private keys.
The settlement and security of assets still rely on the Lightning Network, and the Nostr Assets Protocol itself does not issue assets but only introduces assets into Nostr through the protocol.
I’m not going to read their shit to see how they tippy toe around the scam of pretending to be some official nostr nft as they pitched themselves on day 1. Not my job
Then I guess Nostr does not welcome the openness it claims to have. Verify, don’t trust. I’ve read a few pages of their docs and all they do is just facilitate transfer of NFTs over Nostr protocol. Now they are renaming themselves but still use nostr protocol, so same shit different day. They are basically BTC NFT trading platform 🐶🐾🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
My guess is they backtracked after initial lash out by fiatjaf and the rejection of their attempt to legitimize the scam by funding Damus.
I could care less what they say now.
I don't know why they use Twitter and Discord for these things when Nostr would be perfect. I guess they now have Farcaster but it's complicated and centralized.
I would be looking forward to it.
