That will be awesome ..but if you want to keep it clean , might as well give a zap button for the publication .. configurable such that publisher may display it at the header or footer or not show it at all ..

This would make it fair for the Creatives too , cuz why should they share any revenue with the publication .. unless they voluntarily do so ..

In fact , the rev split should be between the publisher and Npub team .. because not everyone will become a paying member to Npub with dedicated domain or future pro publishing tools ..

Yes separate "support" button for the publication makes sense. There's this widget https://widgets.twentyuno.net/ which you can embed using "Code injections".

I think zap split btw author and publication makes total sense, even if author didn't explicitly "allow" it. Information is free and basically impossible to protect after it's published, good thing on Nostr is it's all signed and the author is explicit, so if some publisher wants to boost author's content and get some split out of that - that's probably better than nothing.

We don't plan to get rev share from every zap on every site - that's bad incentive for us, we don't want to become a middleman and maximize our revenue at the expense of publishers, authors and visitors. We just want to provide great software and "hosting" and get paid for that.

Makes sense - I think you have much better understanding of Nostr .. I will love to see your design choices unfold and take shape ..

Yes ..twentyuno widget is a great idea .. I didn't connect the dots even though I use it on my (md)book publications ! Will sure try it out .. thx

Tested TwentyUno widget at https://news.npub.pro - works like a charm - Thanks again for the pointer :-)
