Having more wealth won't make you happy forever.

Above a certain level, money does not make you happy.

I would even say, money only can give you joy, which is not happiness.

If I were you, I would have goals I want to achieve that needs money, e.g. travelling to Zimbabwe or something. Quantify how much money I need, then I would save and finally enjoy my goal.

This could be considered as a minimalistic approach, because you don't want to be rich for no reason, you just want to put together the minimum amount of money to enjoy your goal.
