The “I” in #AI is a misnomer:
1) AI is not intelligent, it's just a damn good prediction machine.
2) AI has no Self (“I”), no awareness.

Agreed. AI is just manipulating symbols with no understanding of meaning. GPT and other LLMs have ingested so much text that they know how words fit together. The effect that is produced is amazing and can be useful, but we need to know the difference between that and what humans do.
