it provides ready-to-go templates, UI components, widgets, etc.

but yeah docs are not done yet.

can it be used without the boilerplate? just included in other apps

no, it's a framework not a library.

but is it based on react or something similar?

yeap. React for now. but we plan to include Vue, Svelte, and others as well.
