Cross currency in this context means BTC-Sats or also Sats-USDT like with Liquid L2, Mike?

My bank XAPO talks about send USD using UMA but doesn’t explain how.

I’m guessing it’s just regular lightning, converted on the fly at both ends to USD.

I’m not aware of any USDT integration into Bitcoin outside of Liquid.
