UMA Auth was built using Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC), a protocol developed by the team at nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm NWC now supports UMA features like cross-currency transactions and client app registration.

Cross currency in this context means BTC-Sats or also Sats-USDT like with Liquid L2, Mike?

My bank XAPO talks about send USD using UMA but doesn’t explain how.

I’m guessing it’s just regular lightning, converted on the fly at both ends to USD.

I’m not aware of any USDT integration into Bitcoin outside of Liquid.
