Samsung T7 Shield. They cost about $100 for 1 terabyte. Nice pocketable size, with IP65 dust/water resistance. Very good transfer rates, and a durable rubberized case.

Thank you! It was recommended to get a solid state hard drive. Do you know if this is such or a mechanical drive?

Yes, it's solid state. Samsung is regarded as one of the best solid-state drive makers.

I'm using an HP P900 PSSD and it's been great, the 1TB was $110 roughly in my country and I've been using it for over a year with no issues
