This article in the Journal Nature was brought up in a discussion this evening.

It is highly informative for anybody concerned about their supposed high LDL cholesterol.

In the study, it actually shows that people with HIGH LDL have lower all cause mortality (Hazard ratio < 1 = Less death). If someone wants a further explanation, I am happy to give it.

Conversely, low LDL is actually higher in all cause mortally.

For decades, we have been fed a huge lie that fat and cholesterol are bad for us. That cannot be further from the truth.

It only sells more Statin drugs to the populace.
