During my recent burn-out phase, I ended up binging on all three current seasons of the television show The Boys to kind of refill my batteries. 24 episodes of superheroes being evil.

It was the first show I watched since finishing up Succession. I don't like The Boys comic but I actually liked the show a lot.

Anyone else watch it?

Yeah I think I caught 2 seasons. Does the series come to a conclusion or just stop abruptly?

The third season left things reasonably, but it's not at a final conclusion at all. They have an upcoming fourth season. They'll probably go about five seasons. Each season is eight 1-hour episodes. Five seasons would also be about equal to the comics in terms of length, although the show has (in my opinion very favorably) deviated from the comics in a major way.

I think five seasons is the right number for this; I don't like shows that go too long unnecessarily.

Oh, more to come :) I have big respect for series that tie everything together in a nice conclusion vs those that lose their way or simply terminate. "Lost" will forever live in infamy. Boy did I sink a lot of time into that show :( But Mandalorian was great. Oh the perils of spending your time in unfinished series! On that note, Patrick Rothfuss, if you're listening, hurry it up.
