I have been many times. One time I was on my way to another city. Traveling down the highway.

I could see storms ahead. But I was on an important mission. "A mission from God" (The Blues Brothers).

Then the announcer came on the radio with a warning that a tornado was headed down the highway. Directly at me.

All of the cars had pulled off the highway. People were laying in ditches lining the highway.

So I pushed my accelerator to the floor. And drove straight into it. I knew my old car was dependable. It had been through much before.

The tornado hit, and I went airborne. Then drop back down in the right lane from the left lane. As the wheels made contact they screeched.

I continued on and completed my mission, just in time..🙂

Another time I was at home. There had been warnings that we were under a severe weather watch.

Then the sirens began to blair, and the TV announcer reported that a tornado had been spotted on the ground at my location.

I knew it was close by the violent winds. Then the roar like a freight train, announcing its arrival.

I attempted to go outside to admire it's beauty. But the vacuum from the vortex yanked the door knob out of my hand, and slam the door shut. Holding it closed.

So I sat back down and listen to it as it passed. Then I went outside to survey the damage. All of the power was out. You could hear a pin drop. No cars, no activity.

Most of the buildings around me were destroyed. #Home..🌪️🙂
