Many Bitcoiners I know often build the argument that #Bitcoin and real estate the best ways to preserve your wealth and although in principle I agree, there is a fundamental difference.
Real estate can be confiscated pretty easily if the government decides to do so.

Just can't live in a bitcoin! We all need real estate to live in but bitcoin is the superior savings tool. IMO its best to secure and maintain the house you live in and put all other savings into btc

My argument is for investment purposes. A house you live in is not nessary an investment but definitely a nesessaty that everyone needs.
Bad advice to memorize a seed.
Although it's possible to do this, 1000x better to write it down or stamp into steel.
Why not both?
Memorization will take more time in the long run. You'll need to consistently go over the words. Also its good to have more than 1 seed.
Put them into steel. Set & forget
But don't forget where you put it!

What I like withe memorising the seed is the ultimate freedom of not being bound by anything. It is not ideal to have olit only memorised as if something happens to you, all you coins will be lost forever, but not being bound to any physical location is also appealing.
Yeah, I have done this going through the Chinese border. I made sure I had it down a fee weeks before hand.
But as soon as I arrived I had written in down again. Have forgotten previous seeds in the past so I don't advise this for long periods of time. We can forget if we don't constantly repeat it.
