Strikes variable spread turned me off to them as an exchange.

Yea I get that. River is awesome too. At the end of the day I prioritize the most sats for my dollars and Strike has given me that every time I buy (I often buy on both at the same time just to confirm)

That’s good to know. What’s the difference by percent typically?

Strike is the only other Bitcoin exchange I would recommend to anyone.

For a $10 recurring buy at the same time, Strike usually gives me 100 sats more.

If you do a preview buy for both river and strike for $10k, I just got a quote for 9,862,655 from strike and 9,830,956 from river.

So it’s not a crazy difference and there’s room for improvement in my analysis, but it’s conclusion I’ve come to for the last 6 months. I like this method of comparison versus trying to come up with the best via posted fee rates, because this method takes into account spread and order book depth.
