Darling bikes, but I’ve come to believe sportbikes are for two owners:

People who park them as a kind of home scuplture of meccanica

and people who go to track days

Everyone else gets tired of it, the discomfort, the lack of utility, it all wears on you after a couple years and you end up w/ something a little more touring-oriented. There’s a sweet spot where they get just a little longer, a little steadier, and a little higher in the bars where you get 90% of the looks and experience while being able to do grocery shopping and commute to work in something other than jeans and a t-shirt
