But more so, he understands the connection of :
1. Drugs and war. US started Bermuda Triangle when China refused Opium sales to the British (and that's how China lost HK for a century). Aghanistan had the highest Opium trade.
2. Drugs and pharma money making industry
3. Drugs and CIA. John Potash has a good book and a movie on this - there are many writers on the 70's 80's who have spoken about this - Frantz Fanon, Chomksy, Jack Keruoc, the many books on Beatnik, Hippies era
