U.S. Northern Command has announced that the Arleigh Burke-Class Guided-Missile Destroyer, USS Gravely (DDG-107) has departed Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia, for a deployment to the Gulf of America in order to support security operations on the U.S-Mexico Border. A U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment (LEDET) will be embarked aboard the Gravely in domestic and international waters, as they aid Homeland Security.
