She went to the bank, took her 45 minutes to get unlocked. They questioned her in and out why and what. The final step was she had to sit and watch a fraud video. Only then would they unlock her account.

I moved to a different country from my home last year. The amount of data, in particular, from bank that I have to provide at seemingly unrelated steps in order to try and get a residence permit is mind numbing. If there was a way for me to be here without having to have a bank a/c, proof of funds etc etc I would likely be 100% bitcoin. At each and every step it feels like I'm defending myself as if I'm a criminal which feels even worse knowing that the real criminals get vip treatment from banks and government "staff" who willingly cooperate in order to take an under the table fee to ensure the corrupt criminals get a smooth ride.
