Bitcoin's fees are impacting lightning channel open/close and it is impairing people's ability to onboard to lightning and avoid onchain congestion. People are just saying fuck it and using litecoin and doge and shit

Check Doge/BTC chart or LTC/Btc chart then do some homework on how open/closing a channel works in terms of fees.
I am not going to do any of that and neither is anyone else. I'll just use one of the twenty thousand other chains that are cheap and fast, and so is everyone else

You don’t want to acknowledge that Bitcoin is outperforming both assets you just mentioned on all time frames, plus you don’t even know what you’re talking about in terms of lightning channels. Sad, well have fun staying poor idk what else to say 🤣.
I do know that custodial lightning is not the same as onchain btc and people who would use lightning non custodially are unable to. Sounds like your peer to peer cash doesn't work as cash, don't blame me.
You don’t know what you’re even arguing with me about and I can tell. Custodial lightning and noncustodial lightning dont require an onchain transaction every time you send/receive money. Thousands of Channels that were opened when fees were 1 sat/vb still haven’t been closed and are still sending/receiving bitcoin instantly at no fees. Like I said, go do some more homework or hfsp
