Just broadcasted my first 10,000 sat transaction. For a 1,150 sat fee. Through my node. To muun wallet bc1 segwit. To send to Phoenix once confirmed. (Im not going to RBF this one) To send to wallet of satoshi. To zap my fellow #plebchain.
The initial unconfirmed on chain broadcast displayed on muun in under 10 seconds. From my own broadcast.

🫂 I overpaid my first lightning channel opening fee about 10x.
Never do the same again. Having understood the fee market and lowered my time preference.
But if I had started transacting mainchain in a moderate fee environment like you right now, I'd spend the fees as you do too. One needs to verify that this thing is working.
I've actually been here a while. I'm used to main chain fees.
To me the learning is worth the price. Just to make sure it works.

But yes, consolidating utxo, opening lightning wallet channels. Messing around... them miners get their share from me.
