So many people just added algo relay to their relay list, if you did this please remove it

Computing so many algos just to be thrown out by the clients, huge waste of resources

Until clients roll out support for it, it's doing nothing but costing me money πŸ˜”

why do people do this?

Dude, I know relay management is hard, but we just had a dead squirrel on our hands. Go easy.

I always used five years old tech .. upuntill #nostr .. and then I went all in...

Just removed 😬 sorry

switch people for retards next time πŸ’€

ps. turn it back on πŸ™

It should be online, working on coracle

It working.. but the light is red which worries me, might just be that fiatjaf is bad at UI.. what’s new lol

which client is this? Looks sleek af

It’s a desktop client that fiatjaf liked so much he’s hosting a standalone web client nostr:note1qqqxcy05wq6vk227m67r93yj3lmyw7cytfsrw5dz87eq90jqzk3q29wsly

it’s honestly my favorite thing right now

Do you think the algo is good? Any feedback on it?

i like the weights it has already, curious as to the limit on creation date 2-3 is the sweet spot right ?

also would it make sense to have an algo one with no limit on creation date like the most popular notes of all time archive type of algo relay?

Basically just taking a hint from other social networks, usually fresh tweets rank a lot higher, and if we did all time the feed would be pretty static and stale viewing once

I am working on a new feature that gives you a new feed each time you refresh tho

Algo relays are neither inbox, not outbox. Amethyst doesn't have a place for them yet. They shouldn't be on any of your lists. They are designed for Custom Feeds in clients that you can set up a feed for just one relay, like Coracle
