The best thing about alt-tech in general is these sort of people can never bring themselves to part with the vastly bot-inflated follower counts they have on big tech platforms. They'll maybe chuck a hissy fit and pretend to decamp to Gab or Mastodon, posting the whole time about how how much better some new platform is than Twitter... on Twitter, but give them a few days and they'll return to their old account like a dog to its vomit.

I do worry about the potential for zaps to breed a new and insufferable form of social media parasite though.
Genuinely tho, i was on the troon/normie part of the fedi during the twitter "mass exodus" a few months ago and the federated tl at that time was 99% just people like "elon bad lolololol" but now its pretty much exactly back to the dead, stale, sorry state it was before. These firstname lastnames are physically incapable of holding any conviction
