Because Nostr kind 01 is devs discussing in front of users, technical discussions often turn into a popularity contest, rather than dialectic, as soon as someone with a lot of follows involved. They arrive with an army of bodyguards and cheerleaders, who act like a sort of peanut gallery.
And some of the most popular devs have never had anyone question any decision they make, so they immediately freak out and often hit the mute. They confuse "having a lot of followers", with "having a good idea".
This problem doesn't exist in real life development teams. There, there are 7 people in the telco or standing in the room, and if someone asks you a technical question, you have to respond calmly.
