Was the creation of bitcoin stealing too? Or is it the fact that bitcoin’s “money printing” schedule is set in stone via the consensus rules that makes it not stealing?

Bitcoin is not stealing from anyone. You have a choice - participate in bitcoin or do not. FIAT does not give you that choice.

I agree. That was kind of my point, money has to get created somehow and it’s btc’s clear set of rules that all participants agree on that makes it not stealing.
