I used to get upset about all of this and I had chronic nightmares and panic attacks, and my blood pressure would shoot up, but now I'm all doped up, so I just look at stuff and shrug.
The meds have turned me into a bit of a sluggish zombie, and made math really hard, but I'm totally chill, y'all. 🧘♀️ Ohmm...
I have no reflexes, tho, so I'm basically a sitting duck, but no system is perfect.
Half the women I see are blank-faced or glassy-eyed. I guess we've all developed internal borders, to deal with the craziness.
Or just stare at your phone and avoid eye contact.

the assault from the hidden hand just doesn't let up, they are trying to get right under our skin and "hack" us into becoming subserviant, docile slaves and the ones that are too smart will be driven out or killed
but as you know, easy to almost forget it's happening until you jump on a train to the big city and see it again
Yeah, and everyone I knew in the city has moved out to the suburbs or the country. They keep voting the same way, tho, and they say it's not a problem if the inner city is all immigrants, as they don't live there, anymore, and you can order online or drive to the outlet mall.

Whole thing has been a huge experiment in how much cognitive dissonance an entire continent can take.
the people don't want to do it, that's the thing, that's why they are just voting with their feet
even if they don't realise what's going on, they are acting on a clear mental construct that does not want to allow actual war to happen again, you have to celebrate that at least, even if the cities are gonna burn, the people who want nothing to do with it are already evacuated
