You can just change your name on the old one if you want. Head Mistress (oldacct) or something like that. Then post a note from the old one that @'s your new one. That's probably best way and most clear so we know you don't have a scam imposter acct.

Fyi, no matter what app you download, if it's a nostr app, you can use the same account anywhere! No need to create a new account for each app.
You should have an nsec somewhere (itll look like nsec3377eff7u7263u472 or whatever)... that is your "private key". Think of it like your password. You also should have an npub. This is your "public key" and that's the Techy behind the scenes identifier so other ppl and apps can recognize it's your account.
Never share your nsec. Your npub is fine to share.
Anyways, you can paste your nsec into any nostr app and your entire social profile will follow you.

Yes! Both are me. I did make a Primal when I made a Nostr. I also created and Alby and an Coinos.io, but I have not made a Damus. I’m confused. I would like to get these weeds sorted out.
OK so.... think of nostr like a strip club. Each of the poles in the club are the apps (damus, nostur, primal, etc) you can dance on any of those poles. You are always you (your nsec/npub) regardless what pole you're on.
Alby, coinos, etc are all wallets you can connect to your apps. Idk what they are in this analogy... maybe cash maybe thongs? Idk. Metaphor is falling apart...
But any of your wallets can connect to any of your apps. One wallet for all apps or one wallet for each app. Doesnt matter, up to you. You can jump from app to app. All of it lives on nostr.
