My node is an ordisrespector node, and yes I think being careful what we do to change the protocol is a necesity

The problem isn’t Bitcoiners resisting changes.

The problem is the inability of the Devs to identify who they should be communicating with, and how.

Do you think any of the proposed softforks will lift the current barrier to entry holding back mass adoption?

What is the current barrier to entry holding back mass adoption?

Hard to say. But I wouldn’t point at transaction fees as the main barrier. Obviously could change overnight.

I don't trust the author. Bitcoin protocol should be practically impossible to change, that's a strength. He also asserts that these changes are well designed, but doesn't explain how. He says they will help mass adoption but doesn't say how. He just asserts these things that don't seem true and doesn't explain further.
