Interesting that Microsoft is trying to cram AI tools into SwiftKey. I guess the world of tech has a "portal discovery" problem. In order to use some tech you have to have an app, a website, a phone, a keyboard in this case, something that users find you with, otherwise how do they even know it exists? And then that functionality is captured by that third party.

Data and technology should be universally available and "portal" agnostic, no capture. Bitcoin and Nostr achieve this - no fixed clients, but consistent rules and technology working in the background.

Eventually this type of thinking needs to find it's way into the kernel of devices.
