It’s amazing to me the variety of things sheep will eat, when I first got sheep everyone told me how picky they are, that they’ll only graze grass. I’m convinced this mind set is from industrialized farming. My sheep love variety and eat all kinds of things that are considered toxic with no ill effects. Mistletoe, scotch broom, bark from trees, blackberry leaves, oak leaves and everything in between. They actually prefer many of the above to hay and other industrialized feeds if given the choice.
