1,000 addresses with 1 bitcoin could be a 1,000 people or 1 person or something in between.
1 address with a 1,000 bitcoin is pretty straight forward

But this chart which is your basis, says nothing about it.
It groups by amount of mETH, which can fall prey to same thing you mentioned in the first half of your response.

I just think we should focus on any of the many issues with mETH.
